Achi Jaya Plantations is a plantations based company owning 12,000 hectares oil palm plantations of which 10,900 hectares are matured and yielding 250,000 tonnes of Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB). The average yield of FFB per hectare is 23 tonnes. The balance of 1,100 hectares at various stages of immaturity. Located on the plantations is a 60 tonnes per hour palm oil mill processing 270,000 of FFB and producing around 55,000 tonnes crude palm oil (CPO). We are in the process of setting up a biodiesel plant which is capable of processing and converting the entire CPO into palm methyl esters. The palm methyl esters will be of quality specifications comparable to those of rapeseed methyl esters produced in Europe.
